After several months of besieging Tobruk, Rommel was still unable to take the port. Meanwhile, 8th Army had plans of its own. On November 18th, the British launched Operation Crusader with the intent of relieving the Tobruk garrison, and the next day saw an armored clash near the Sidi Rezegh airfield.
Objectives: Your squadron has regrouped and is to to advance west-northwest. Move towards the small village that lies along the road. A troop of German Armored Cars is west of you, possibly screening a larger force. Your troop is facing west and forms the right flank of the squadron line. If targets of opportunity present themselves, engage them. Your right flank will be screened by a troop of Daimler Armored Cars.
